River Dee Live Cam presents this camera as a live view from the heart of Llangollen, overlooking the Llangollen Railway station in the foreground, with the River Dee, the historic bridge, the Corn Mill and the surrounding hills in the background. Alongside the trains the channel points out kayakers and rafters on the river.

In the frame that was checked, the station platform with its tables and benches runs across the lower half of the picture, with the single track along its edge and the corner of a station building at the bottom right; the river and its rapids fill the middle, the old bridge sits at the left and the stone buildings of the town rise on the far bank. A temperature and river-level overlay is burned into the image.

The operator is a local project, not the railway itself, and the channel also runs a second camera on the approach to the station, listed separately.
