The North Yorkshire Moors Railway welcomes back LNER A4 Pacific No. 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley for a run of pre-booked, seat-allocated return journeys between Pickering and Grosmont. The locomotive visits courtesy of the Sir Nigel Gresley Locomotive Trust, and the operator links the visit to the celebration of 150 years since the birth of the engineer Sir Nigel Gresley.

No. 60007 was built in 1937 at the London and North Eastern Railway's Doncaster Works, one of 35 streamlined A4s designed for high-speed express services on the East Coast Main Line. The operator highlights its sleek, aerodynamic design.
