Goathland Station — North Yorkshire Moors Railway

On YouTube the railway titles this stream "Goathland Bridge"; on its own website it lists it as Goathland Station, with the caption: "Hidden under the road bridge pointed towards the station and water tower." The bridge is the one that carries Cow Wath Bank over the line at the south end of Goathland station, so the view runs north along the track, past the pointwork at the end of the station, towards the platforms and buildings about 150 metres away.

Goathland opened in 1865 as Goathland Mill, on the North Eastern Railway's deviation that replaced the rope-worked incline of the original 1836 Whitby and Pickering Railway at Beck Hole. The station has since become one of the most filmed on any British railway: it appeared as the Hogwarts Express station at Hogsmeade in the Harry Potter films, and as Aidensfield station in the television series Heartbeat. It lies between Grosmont, towards Whitby, and Newton Dale Halt, towards Pickering.
