About this event

The Oklahoma Railway Museum hosts THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride in Oklahoma City, produced with Rail Events. The ride is described as a magical one-hour trip to meet Santa, set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack.

Once on board, car hosts punch each golden ticket before dancing chefs serve hot chocolate and Walker's Shortbread. Passengers read along with the book, Santa and his helpers board to greet them, and every guest receives a silver sleigh bell, the first gift of Christmas. Characters on each car lead caroling and onboard entertainment.

Two classes are sold. Coach cars are classic railroad coaches, and First Class cars were built for Canadian National Railway in 1954 and later served VIA Rail; the museum bought them in 2020. First Class passengers also take home a collectible ceramic mug.
