About this cam
The Oklahoma Model Railroad Association's static camera at milepost 380.7 ("Nowers") on BNSF's Red Rock Subdivision in Oklahoma City -- the same location as OMRA's published PTZ camera, averaging 20-25 trains a day per the operator.
This is BNSF's Red Rock Subdivision between Arkansas City, Kansas and Gainesville, Texas, part of the former Santa Fe mainline between Chicago/Kansas City and Fort Worth/Houston. The Oklahoma Model Railroad Association (OMRA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit that also runs a public HO-scale model railroad museum in Oklahoma City, operates this static camera alongside a companion PTZ unit at the same spot, milepost 380.7, known as "Nowers" -- a crew-change point where most trains stop. Amtrak's Heartland Flyer terminates three miles south and does not pass the camera.
