North Pole Express — Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario

The Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario in Smiths Falls transforms its museum into what it calls a festive Christmas wonderland for the North Pole Express. The operator describes train rides on the North Pole Express, tractor rides, Santa-grams sent from the Telegraph Office, carolers, artisan vendors, hot cocoa and a visit from the Grinch.

Professional photos with Santa are taken in the museum's 1899 dining car; the operator notes that the photos are available for purchase only and that this is the event's opportunity to meet Santa. The museum's gift shop is open for seasonal shopping.

The operator presents the North Pole Express as a holiday tradition for anyone who loves the magic of the season.
