About this event

Santa's Night Cap, also called The Last Call Limited, is the Waterloo Central Railway's adults-only holiday train experience, for ages 19 and over. The operator describes a moving holiday party along the Winter Line under glowing Christmas lights, where a cast of bold characters brings humour, surprises and interactive moments designed for an adult crowd.

Santa is on board, but the operator says this is not a childhood visit: he is ready to celebrate, share a drink and keep the party going. The ride lasts about one hour and is sold in Coach seating with traditional rail seating in groups of four, or Lounge Car seating with upholstered chairs, each with a holiday gift. The railway also takes group bookings of 30 or more on Thursdays.

What to expect

A one-hour adults-only holiday party on a heritage train under Christmas lights, with interactive characters, quick-witted entertainment and a Santa who joins the celebration. Every passenger receives a special holiday gift. Guests are invited to wear Christmas pajamas.
