About this cam
Hosted by the Gibsonville Garden Railroad, this PTZ camera sits beside Norfolk Southern's NC-Line mainline, though the feed has so far shown mostly the volunteer-run miniature layout itself.
The Gibsonville Garden Railroad (220 East Main Street, Gibsonville, NC) is a volunteer-run miniature railway open to the public free of charge every Saturday from April through November, 9 a.m. to noon, where visitors may operate their own trains under supervision. The channel, The Triangle Railfan, hosts a PTZ camera there described as a live railcam on Norfolk Southern's "NC-Line."
The operator's own log lists a dense daily schedule: NS freight symbols such as 350/351, 50X/51X and 44D/45D (grain), 40E/41E (soybeans), 64D/65D and 64W/65W (ethanol), 61U-63U (potash) and 60V/61V (phosphate), plus ten daily Amtrak trains (71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79 and 80) and occasional export locomotives and Herzog ballast trains.
⚠️ Across three separate checks the same evening (2026-09-23/24, roughly 20 minutes apart), the live feed showed only the miniature garden layout — the real NS mainline described in the title was not visible in frame. See notes.
What to watch for
The operator's log names specific NS freight symbols (grain, ethanol, potash, phosphate trains) and ten scheduled daily Amtrak trains (71 through 80) — see long description. ⚠️ As qualified, the live feed itself showed only the garden railroad's miniature trains, not the real NS line.
