Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima — Near Maezora Station

This live camera is operated by the City of Hatsukaichi's Miyajima-guchi Port Townscape Promotion Division (宮島口みなとまちづくり推進課) as part of a small network of public monitoring cameras covering the Miyajima-guchi district, the gateway to Miyajima Island and Itsukushima Shrine.

The view looks north along National Route 2, which runs parallel to the JR West Sanyo Main Line at this point. The operator identifies this specific feed as being near Maezora Station (前空駅), a stop that opened in March 2000 between Miyajimaguchi and Ono-ura stations on the historic Sanyo Main Line — the trunk railway linking Kobe and Shimonoseki since the 19th century.

Overhead catenary poles and the rail formation are visible on the embankment to the left of the road, though the station platforms themselves are outside the frame. The same channel operates sister cameras covering the Miyajimaguchi ferry-terminal area and the Ono branch office, all part of the same municipal traffic-monitoring network repurposed here as a lineside view.
