The camera is mounted at the Tokyo branch office of the Shizuoka Shimbun newspaper and SBS (Shizuoka Broadcasting System), in Ginza 8-chome, Tokyo, looking toward JR Shimbashi Station.
In the operator's own words: "On the far left of the screen, you can see the JR Tokai Shinkansen (bullet train) running from right to left, heading towards Osaka. On the other side, the Shinkansen is heading towards Tokyo Station. Next to the Shinkansen tracks, you can see Keihin-Tohoku line (Tokyo, Ueno bound), Yamanote line (Tokyo, Ikebukuro bound and Shinagawa, Shibuya bound), Keihin-Tohoku line (Shinagawa, Yokohama bound), Tokaido, Ueno-Tokyo line (Tokyo, Ueno bound and Shinagawa Yokohama, Atami bound)."
