This camera looks east across the Moorhead Junction diamond on BNSF's KO Subdivision at Milepost 5.8 in Moorhead, Minnesota. The junction carries BNSF freight alongside Amtrak's Empire Builder, which uses this line daily between Chicago and Seattle/Portland.
The installation is sponsored by Copy Kat Printing of Moorhead and operated by Northern Transcon Railcams on the Steel Highway Railcams channel; it was installed on September 1, 2023 as part of a three-camera fundraising campaign. A companion West (PTZ) camera at the same junction covers the opposite direction.
