Adventsfahrten mit dem Nikolaus — Museumsbahnen Schönberger Strand

The Verein Verkehrsamateure und Museumsbahn e.V. and its operating company run the Museumsbahnen Schönberger Strand, a heritage line where historic trains with steam and diesel traction and old railcars run between Schönberger Strand and Schönberg (Holstein), and where historic trams circle in front of the station. The operator describes the museum as run on a non-profit, voluntary basis.

On one Sunday in the Advent season the museum railway runs "Advents-Nikolaus-Sonderzüge" from Schönberger Strand. The operator's poster promises a train ride in decorated carriages of about 45 minutes. The Nikolaus gives small gifts to the children in the train, and the poster says passengers aged 1 to 14 get a surprise.

The museum also runs its historic trams from the station forecourt on the same day, and the operator says refreshments are provided.
