About this cam
A local hobbyist streams the west side of Aioi station in Hyogo Prefecture. The Sanyo Shinkansen viaduct runs across the lower part of the picture, with its catenary gantries, and the west end of the elevated Shinkansen platform is in view on the right, as the channel's description says.
The channel owner describes this stream as a live view of the west side of Aioi station, adding that the west end of the Shinkansen platform is included in the picture. Aioi is a Sanyo Shinkansen stop between Himeji and Okayama, where JR West's Sanyo Main Line and Ako Line also meet.
The Shinkansen runs on a long concrete viaduct here; from the camera it crosses the frame behind a row of buildings, with wooded hills behind. The same channel runs a second camera on the station approach, which shows the street rather than the railway.
What to watch for
Sanyo Shinkansen trains on the viaduct, stopping at or running through Aioi station at the platform's west end.
