A platform-level view of the Kelso Multimodal Transportation Center, an Amtrak station on BNSF's Seattle Subdivision at Milepost 97.3 in Kelso, Washington. Built in 1912 for the Northern Pacific Railroad and rededicated in 1995, the station is served by 14 daily Amtrak trains (Cascades and Coast Starlight), plus BNSF freight and Union Pacific trains operating on trackage rights.
This camera overlooks the platform of the Kelso Multimodal Transportation Center in Kelso, Washington, on BNSF's Seattle Subdivision at Milepost 97.3. Originally built for the Northern Pacific Railroad in 1912, the station became an Amtrak stop in 1981 and was extensively renovated and rededicated in September 1995. It is the region's first multimodal center, combining the rail platform with intercity and commercial bus service.
BNSF operates the Seattle Subdivision through Kelso, carrying trains between Vancouver, British Columbia, and Vancouver, Washington. Union Pacific trains also run through on trackage rights between Portland, Oregon, and Tacoma, Washington. Amtrak operates 14 daily trains here, including the Cascades and Coast Starlight services.
