Kerst Expres — Museumstoomtram Hoorn-Medemblik

The Museumstoomtram Hoorn-Medemblik presents the Kerst Expres around the Christmas holidays as a way to enjoy the festive season outdoors with family or friends. The operator describes the museum grounds and tram station in Hoorn as dressed up for Christmas, under the name "Het Mooiste Kerststation", with a special Christmas puzzle to explore the museum.

Steam from the locomotive warms the carriages. The tram leaves Hoorn for a trip through the winter landscape to the small historic station of Wognum, and then returns to Hoorn. The operator says Father Christmas (de Kerstman) also pays the passengers a visit.

The Kerst Expres is sold as its own e-ticket item and is a different product from the operator's Sinterklaas ride.

A ride of about two hours. You are welcomed at the decorated tram station in Hoorn, can explore the museum grounds with the Christmas puzzle, then take the steam tram to Wognum and back. The operator says Father Christmas visits the passengers.

Boarding is at the Museumstoomtram's tram station, Van Dedemstraat 8, 1624 NN Hoorn. The operator says that for special themed rides, including the Christmas rides, even individual travellers must reserve; e-tickets are sold in the operator's online ticket shop.
