Pieten Expres Prikkelarm — Museumstoomtram Hoorn-Medemblik

The Museumstoomtram Hoorn-Medemblik runs a Pieten Expres Prikkelarm, a low-stimulation version of its Pieten Expres. The operator sells it as its own event, with its own page, its own date and its own tickets.

The trip, about two hours long, starts at the Tramstation in Hoorn, where guests are welcomed. The steam tram takes them with the Pieten to Wognum station, where the Pieten bring the children to the SinterCircus to visit Sinterklaas. All children up to and including 12 years old receive a gift before the tram returns to Hoorn.

To keep it calm, the operator switches the music off, halves the number of visitors, and provides a special rest carriage where guests can withdraw when they need a break. A visual preparation guide ("Visuele voorbereiding") is available on the operator's page as a PDF.
