Santa Claus Express — Wanamaker, Kempton & Southern

The Wanamaker, Kempton & Southern Railroad (WK&S) runs its Santa Claus Express from its station in Kempton, Pennsylvania. The operator invites families to join Santa, Mrs. Claus, Frosty the Snowman and the elves as they bring in the season. Santa walks through the train, children receive free gifts, and there are special treats for everyone.

The operator says the train and the gift shop are heated in cold weather, and suggests bringing a camera for family photos. A model train display run by the Schuylkill & Lehigh Model Railroad Club is open in the yellow coach behind the ticket office. The railroad also runs regularly scheduled Sunday trips and a calendar of other special events through the year.
