Amaharashi Coast, Takaoka — Himi Line Along the Shore

Takaoka Cable Network, the cable operator of Takaoka City in Toyama Prefecture, streams this fixed-point camera on the Amaharashi coast, which it presents as a view across the sea toward the Tateyama mountain range. It is also broadcast daily on the operator's cable channel 122. In the frame checked, the sea and a rocky islet fill the left and centre, while a curving railway track and a road follow the shoreline at the right.

The operator's description links to a JR page about the Himi Line and its Belmonta sightseeing train, and to a page about the nearby roadside station. It warns that rain or snow may cling to the lens for long periods, and it also runs a second camera at Fushiki Port.
