Noto-Kashima is an unmanned stop on the Noto Railway's Nanao Line, the second-to-last station before the Anamizu terminus. About 100 cherry trees planted by residents when the station opened in 1932 line the platform, framing passing trains against Nanao Bay each spring.
What to watch for
Noto Railway diesel railcars, and for about three weeks each spring the cherry-blossom tunnel over the platform, lit at night during viewing season.
