About this cam

This PTZ camera looks over Union Pacific's Roseville Subdivision through downtown Truckee, California, at an elevation of about 5,800 feet, mounted on the Truckee Railroad Museum's display caboose. The museum is operated by the Truckee Donner Railroad Society.
The operator's own description places the camera at MP RV205 and notes that Truckee is a base for snow-fighting equipment during winter. The Society's own page (tdrrs.org/traincam) credits the installation to Todd Santos (RRphotographer) and states the feed carries sound, including railroad radio traffic, in addition to Union Pacific, BNSF and Amtrak activity.
