T&NO Junction takes its name from the former Texas and New Orleans Railroad, which ran on what is now Union Pacific track. Independent railfan documentation describes the site as a crossing and interchange between Union Pacific (running roughly east-west) and BNSF (running roughly north-south), a few blocks from the Palm Center Transit Center. At qualification on 2026-09-20, LIVE Trains' camera showed a grade crossing on Griggs Road (street sign visible on-screen) with multiple tracks, signal masts, and the downtown Houston skyline in the distance.
