About this cam
A live camera on Johnstown's Stone Bridge, the Norfolk Southern railroad bridge that became an icon of the 1889 Johnstown Flood. Heritage Johnstown says more than 25 trains a day cross it.
The Stone Bridge carries the railroad across the Conemaugh River in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. It is an icon of the 1889 Johnstown Flood. Heritage Johnstown, which administers the bridge's colored LED lights, notes that "the bridge's owner, Norfolk Southern, added more railroad tracks to the bridge" almost a century ago, covering the original stone facade.
According to Heritage Johnstown, "More than 25 trains daily also cross the bridge", which also spans Routes 403 and 56. The bridge is lit for three hours each evening, with colors chosen for holidays, events and the seasons.
