The corridor links St. Paul's 3rd Street area with Minneapolis and carries roughly 30 trains a day, including heavy intermodal traffic. The installation's host is the Midway Express Car Wash.
This is a freight-only view. The operator is explicit that Amtrak's Empire Builder does not run on this line — it instead uses the Minnesota Commercial Railway to reach St. Paul Union Depot — so what passes here is BNSF intermodal, manifest and bulk traffic. The maximum authorized speed on the subdivision is 40 MPH.
