About this event

The Corris Railway runs its Santa Special Steam Trains from Corris Station, in the Dulas Valley of mid Wales. The operator describes a train ride along the picturesque Dulas Valley to meet Santa and his helpers in his grotto, at his special part of Maespoeth Junction.

The operator says the price includes a quality present from Santa, soft drinks and sweets for all children, and warming mulled juice and mince pies for all adults. There are activities to take part in and seasonal refreshments for adults and children alike. The Corris Railway Museum and the shop stay open around the trains, with books, gifts, Christmas cards and calendars on sale.

The operator says it may have to use a diesel locomotive in the unlikely event of a breakdown or crew shortage.

All trains are accessible: the operator says wheelchair users travel with their party and that the carriages have observation windows.
