RailStream operates this camera from B-12 Tower in Franklin Park, Illinois, a former Milwaukee Road interlocking tower that still stands beside the tracks. The installation is hosted with the cooperation of the Village of Franklin Park.

RailStream's own camera lineup describes the vantage point directly: B-12 Tower "catches CP, IHB and Metra" — CPKC (Canadian Pacific Kansas City) freight, Indiana Harbor Belt freight, and Metra commuter trains all pass within view of the two cameras mounted here.

This west-facing camera looks down the tracks toward a signal gantry, the opposite direction from its East counterpart at the same tower.

RailStream does not publish the exact location of its cameras. The map pin is our estimate at B-12 Tower, between Ruby Street and Calwagner Street, and it has not been confirmed on screen.
