About this cam
A trackside view of the south end of Bewdley station on the Severn Valley Railway, looking towards Kidderminster. Heritage steam and diesel trains arrive here, and locomotives are prepared for the day's services.
Bewdley station sits roughly midway along the Severn Valley Railway's 16-mile heritage line between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth, in Worcestershire. This camera looks south from the platform towards Kidderminster, covering the loop line built by the Great Western Railway and opened in June 1878.
The Severn Valley Railway runs heritage steam and diesel locomotives on a seasonal timetable. This is one of six cameras installed across the line's stations by Railcam UK Ltd, streamed on the railway's own YouTube channel.
What to watch for
Trains arriving from Kidderminster, locomotives being prepared for service on the loop line, and shunting moves at the south end of the platform.
