Each journey profile maps the route stage by stage with verified coordinates, lists the operator and the rolling stock, gives a realistic price range and a typical duration, explains the best time of year to travel and what to expect on board, and links to the official booking flow when there is one. We also surface the engineering and historical highlights that make the journey worth the ticket — the specific viaducts, switchbacks, summits, and stretches of scenery that justify the trip.
